The Nigerian Meteorogical Agency,(NiMet), has signed a partnership deal with Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES) aimed at enhancing weather monitoring to provide critical climate information to farmers across the country.

The partnership was highlighted during a courtesy visit by the National Coordinator of L-PRES, Sanusi Abubakar, to the Director General and Chief Executive Officer of NiMet, Charles Anosike, where four Automatic Weather Observation Systems (AWOS) were formally handed over to the meteorological agency.

The initiative forms part of broader efforts by L-PRES to strengthen data-driven livestock production in Nigeria by equipping farmers with reliable weather information and tools that will help them adapt to changing climate conditions.

Speaking during the visit, Abubakar congratulated Professor Anosike on the public release of NiMet’s 2026 Seasonal Climate Prediction, noting that the agency’s forecasts remain critical for planning in key sectors such as agriculture and livestock development. He stressed that the collaboration between L-PRES and NiMet represents an important step toward building resilience across Nigeria’s livestock value chain.

According to him, unpredictable weather patterns have continued to pose challenges to livestock farmers, particularly in grazing areas where climate variability can affect pasture availability, water supply and animal health. He noted that by strengthening weather monitoring systems and expanding access to climate data, the partnership would empower farmers to make better decisions that improve productivity and reduce vulnerability to climate risks.

For NiMet, the donation of the weather monitoring equipment represents a significant enhancement to the nation’s meteorological infrastructure. Responding, Professor Anosike commended L-PRES for the initiative, describing the procurement and donation of the AWOS units as a strategic investment that would strengthen Nigeria’s weather observation network.

He explained that the new weather stations would be installed in rehabilitated grazing reserves across the country, where they will provide accurate and localized climate data to support livestock farmers and agricultural planners.

According to him, access to precise weather information will enable farmers to anticipate climate changes, manage grazing patterns more effectively and adopt practices that safeguard livestock productivity.

Anosike noted that the collaboration demonstrates the growing importance of partnerships in addressing climate-related challenges affecting agriculture and food security.

Both organisations expressed optimism that the collaboration would continue to expand in the coming years, combining technological innovation with institutional expertise to strengthen Nigeria’s capacity to monitor weather patterns and respond proactively to climate risks.

Why God sent Uma Ukpai to hell- Evangelist Linda

A female evangelist has painted a graphic picture of how she saw late popular pastor Uma Ukpai in hell after his death, saying God denied him entrance to heaven because he did not required standard of holiness, despite his anointing and numerous works.

She wrote:

She said God told Ukpai that- “I do not know you.”

I was very shocked to witness such and l asked the Lord why an apostle like Uma Ukpai would be a candidate of hell

And the Lord said to me, that Uma was seeking more of anointing than the holiness.

Stop saying God of my pastor will save me , for you do not know the God that your pastor is serving.

Pray to the God of heaven , before you go and invoke unknown God for yourself, through foolishness.

Being anointed will not take you or anyone to heaven but holiness,

And that is how Uma Ukpai ended up in hell fire and the Lord did not show him mercy because it was already too late.

For it is good for someone to be holy than being full of anointing.

Holiness can not be compromised in any way.

Keep saying that God does not look at you outward holiness but you heart, you will end up in hell. Holiness is the only thing that takes one to heaven without it, no one will see God because God is holy.

No one should see you without being able to identify you as a child of God before getting closer to you

Your appearance, conduct and comportment should tell anyone from afar that, indeed this is a child of God.

Anointing is only here on earth and anointing without holiness is a waist of time, for the Lord will require from your how you lived your life while on earth.

You live a worldly life as you want and then keep delivering people from demon and all forms of afflictions. Surely your reckless life will land you in hell.

Hear what the Lord say, in the book of Mathew 7: 22, that many will say to me on that day, Lord, Lord have we not prophesies in your name? in your name cast out devils?
And in your name performed many wonderful works?

And then, will l profess unto them l never knew you, depart from me, you workers of iniquity .

How pathetic that will be , after doing all that prayers and fasting and then go to hell for you careless life style, the sinners who didn’t work for God will mock you in hell.

And again in that same portion, Mathew 7: 21, Not everyone who says to me Lord lord will enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he that doeth the will of my father which is in heaven.

Being anointing is different from living a life worthy as a child of God, according to this portion of the bible.

Sister Linda recounted what she saw in hell when the Lord called her to come and witness the hell as she was deeply into things of the world, l mean all that you can think of, and all that concerns the world.

Repent and find Christ while you are yet can tomorrow is not sure .

Shalom!!!

A former student opened fire at a high school in southeastern Turkey on Tuesday, wounding at least 16 people, before killing himself, an official said.

The 18-year-old attacker, armed with a shotgun, fired randomly inside a vocational high school in Siverek, Sanliurfa province. He later killed himself with the same shotgun after being “cornered by police,” Gov. Hasan Sildak said.

The attack left 10 students, four teachers, a canteen employee and a police officer hurt, Sildak said. While most of them were being treated in Siverek, five of the teachers and students were transferred to a hospital in the provincial capital because their conditions were more serious, the governor said.

The motive for the attack remains unclear. School shootings are rare in Turkey.

The attacker did not have a criminal record, Sildak said. The school had been declared safe and no permanent police officer was assigned to protect it, he added, calling the shooting an “isolated incident.”

NTV television and other media reports said the assailant had threatened an attack on the school on social media prior to the shooting.

One student told the state-run Anadolu Agency that he and a friend jumped out of their classroom window to flee the attacker.

The management of Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has inaugurated newly appointed members of its Anti-Corruption and Transparency Unit (ACTU), reaffirming its commitment to promoting integrity, accountability, and ethical standards across the Agency.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the Director General/CEO of NiMet, Prof. Charles Anosike, described the event as a critical step in strengthening institutional mechanisms against corruption. He noted that the inauguration aligns with NiMet’s newly unveiled 2026–2030 Strategic Plan, anchored on core values of Integrity, Professionalism, Accountability, Commitment, and Excellence (I-PACE).

According to him, ACTU serves as a key institutional safeguard responsible for preventing corruption and fostering a culture of accountability within the Agency. He added that the unit has been expanded from five to eight members to enhance inclusiveness and effectiveness.

The DG also emphasized that the fight against corruption is a collective responsibility, urging all staff to embrace ethical conduct as a core part of the Agency’s culture.

Anosike therefore urged the ACTU members to uphold the highest ethical standards and carry out their responsibilities with diligence, integrity and professionalism, while assuring them of Management’s full support as well as reaffirming the Agency’s commitment to transparency and national development.

The Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), Dr. Musa Adamu Aliyu, SAN, who was represented by Mr. Olusegun Adigun, in his remarks, commended NiMet’s Management for facilitating the inauguration and operations of ACTU in the Agency.
